Weinviertel DAC Grüner Veltliner 2024

Weinviertel DAC is always a Grüner Veltliner that is characterized by a light to greenish-yellow color and a fruity, spicy, peppery taste. It is vinified dry (max. 6 g/l residual sugar) and must not have a hint of wood or botrytis. The alcohol content is between 12% and 13% by volume. The wine with the typical regional and varietal character – also known as the “Pfefferl” – may only be served from January 15th of the year following the harvest.

  • Delicately peppery herbal spice mixed with a fragrant fresh fruit basket, elegant fruit presence of pears on the palate, smooth fruit melt, juicy and carried by pithy acidity, a classic Weinviertler with spice and Pfefferl.
  • Delicious with asparagus or typical Viennese dishes such as offal, fried chicken or Wiener Schnitzel.
